Join the Seton Shrine February 1st and 2nd for a virtual tour, Where It All Started: Sisters in the Stone Farm House.
To celebrate the World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life, you go into the home of Mother Seton where she established the first order of sisters in America.
You learn:
- The harsh conditions in which these women lived for several months upon arriving in Emmitsburg
- The Sisters of St. Joseph’s founding, their relationship with the Mount St. Mary’s Seminary, and their contributions to the Church
