Visitors to the Rupp House History Center have an opportunity to enjoy a series of Courtyard Chats throughout the 2019 spring/summer season.
Join us and relax in the comfort of a rocking chair on the courtyard porches of the historic Rupp House on Saturday, June 1, 2019 for a program on the George Spangler Farm & Field Hospital. The Gettysburg Foundation’s Spangler Farm Site Coordinator, Paul Semanek will present a prelude to the 2019 summer season of encampments and special programs at the George Spangler farm. Learn why this historic site is a must-see for Gettysburg visitors. The program begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Rupp House, located at 451 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg. Before and after the chat, take time to explore the Rupp House History Center to learn the civilian stories connected to the Battle of Gettysburg. The chats and the museum offer free admission.
