Gettysburg Times columnist, Jim Rada, presents an account of the 1922 re-enactment by the U.S. Marine

Corps of Pickett’s Charge using tanks, planes and machine guns.  The march from Quantico, Va.  to Gettysburg was witnessed by Pres. Harding, dignitaries and over 100,00 people.  While here two Marines were killed and were the last line-of-duty deaths on the Gettysburg Battlefield.
