35th Annual School Art School

Artwork from 11 area middle and high schools fill the gallery at the Hanover Area Arts Guild in March. It’s the 35th year for the show, which dovetails with the National Youth Art Month. The national celebration stresses the need for arts education and the role it plays in students’ educations. The Arts Guild also emphasizes education as part of its mission. The downtown Hanover gallery is filled with paintings, sculpture, pottery and other artwork as part of this exhibition. The show is open to the public and is free. A reception is planned 1-3 p.m. March 6, also a free event for the public and families.
