27th Annual ACSPCA Loyalty Walk

Do you suffer from seasonal depression? Has your hair grown dull and limp? Are you wondering what is the meaning of life? Do you wish you were taller, fitter or better looking? There’s a perfect solution for you! Clinically proven to increase energy and vitality, and promote networking and friendship, the Loyalty Walk is guaranteed to deliver! Meet at the Gettysburg Area Middle School on Saturday May 13th. Registration starts at 8:30 am and the walk starts at 10:00 am. The 1/2-mile, 1-mile, or 3-mile walk is held in memory of Sallie, the bull terrier mascot of the 11th Pennsylvania Volunteers. Sallie faithfully guarded her wounded and dead at the Battle of Gettysburg until she was found and returned to her Unit.
Tentative Loyalty Walk schedule:
8:30 – Registration
9:30 – Dog Costume Contest
10 – Noon – Loyalty Walk and performance by “The Willy’s”
Plus balloon artist, face painter, moon bounce, specialty gift vendors, and food (for purchase).

All proceeds benefit the homeless animals at the Adams County SPCA.
