The 17th Annual Adams County Irish Festival at Gettysburg will be held rain or shine at Moose Park in Straban Township about 3 ½ miles east of Gettysburg on Saturday July 15. The festival offers family fun for everyone with Irish music all day, dancers, vendors of Irish goods, food and beverage; Irish wolfhounds & more! Musical entertainment features John Whelan with Haley and Dylan Richardson, Kilmaine Saints, The Brayzen Heads, Irishtown Road and Across the Pond along with the Pickin’ & Grinnin’ Children’s Show.
New for 2017 – extended hours! Gate opens at 9:45am. Free parking. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Sorry, no coolers or pets.
The Festival is presented by Adams County Division 1 of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and benefits the Hibernian Hunger Project to assist local hunger-relief organizations.
