Third Thursdays bring extended hours and new programs to the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center for summer 2019, as the Gettysburg National Military Park and Gettysburg Foundation extend opportunities to visit and explore the park. Join us at the Museum & Visitor Center for extended hours as we remain open until 8 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month (Sept. 19–final Third Thursday programming for the season). In addition to more time to explore the museum and tour the battlefield with a Licensed Guide, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a line-up of new, exclusive summer programming on Third Thursdays.

Join historian Christopher Gwinn as he explores the 75th anniversary reunion at Gettysburg and how this last gathering of old veterans continues to shape our understanding of the Civil War.
