Artifact of the Month
The Adams County Historical Society preserves thousands of Native American relics, including these spear points from the Archaic Period that are at least 5,000 years old. Native Americans lived in what would become Adams County for over 10,000 years prior to European settlement in the 1730s.
The Adams County Historical Society (ACHS) preserves millions of incredible artifacts like this one. Currently, ACHS needs your help raising funds for a new home that will protect these precious materials forever. To learn more, please visit www.achs-pa.org/campaign
