Volunteer Work Day

Join us in honor of National Trails Day! Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center in the Bus Parking Lot. The work day runs from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with lunch provided at noon. Participants will spend a full day working on preservation projects at Gettysburg National Military Park & Eisenhower National Historic Site.

Work assignments vary each year and are still being settled upon for 2025 but will fall into the following categories: Brush Clearing, Fence Building, Fence Painting, Headstone Cleaning, Headstone Painting, Historic Structure Cleaning, Reserves for whatever is needed. We will contact you about work assignments closer to the event date.
