Defeat MSA 5K

Join us to honor Chad Sprankle, a lifelong resident of the Gettysburg area with the 2023 Defeat MSA 5K on March 25. In addition to being a marine, he was also a member of the McSherrystown police force.
Chad was diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) in the summer of 2021. MSA is an extremely rare degenerative neurological disorder affecting the body’s involuntary/autonomic functions including blood pressure, breathing, bladder function, and motor control. MSA progresses gradually and is terminal 7-10 years from symptom onset.
Profits from the race will directly benefit the MSA Coalition, which funds research and provides support for patients with MSA globally. For many of us, our health and ability to exercise daily are something we often take for granted. We ask that you please consider participating in March in honor of those who no longer have that option!

Packet Pick-Up will take place on Friday March 24th from 4 p.m.-7p.m. or Saturday March 25th from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at Strength United CrossFit
