United Way of Adams County – Day of Caring
September 25 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pmFree
United Way’s Day of Caring brings together volunteers to complete community service projects at local non-profit agencies in Adams County and residential projects for individuals who are 60 years or older, low income, disabled, or Military Veteran. It is a day that we ask you to help us put our mission into action by volunteering to improve the building blocks for a good quality of life – education, financial stability, and health. Day of Caring projects involve a variety of services and may include painting, landscaping, gardening, cleaning, organizing, and more. We would like to invite your organization to create a team of volunteers to take part of this great event. Day of Caring will take place on Saturday, September 25th from 8am-12pm.
Projects and the agencies they service will be announced closer to the event date. Projects will be assigned on a “first-in-first assigned” basis. Early submission will give your team more projects to choose from and time to prepare and coordinate with the agency you will be working with.
If you or your organization is interested please email Laura McMahon at [email protected]
