Visitors to the Rupp House History Center have an opportunity to enjoy a series of Courtyard Chats throughout the 2019 spring/summer season.
Join us and relax in the comfort of a rocking chair on the courtyard porches of the historic Rupp House on Saturday, May 4, 2019, for a chat entitled, Was It About Shoes? David McGlaughlin will discuss what led the troops into Gettysburg on July 1, 1863. The program begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Rupp House, located at 451 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg. Before and after the chat, take time to explore the Rupp House History Center to learn the civilian stories connected to the Battle of Gettysburg. The chats and the museum offer free admission.
